The emperor, long-haired, beard and moustache, is wearing toothed stemma decorated with pendoulias, maniakion, divitision and loros with "lattice decoration", is holding the flag with his right hand. His left hand is laid on his chest. The empress is with three-pointed crown decorated with pendoulias, wearing maniakion, divitision and loros with "lattice decoration", is holding the flag with her left hand, lower than the emperor. Her right hand is laid on her chest.
Reverse: Christ, with cross nimbus, wearing tunic and kolobion is sitting on high-back throne, holding Gospel, decorated with 5 gems
