Obverse: Jacob Svetoslav in 3/4 length facing standing, wearing stemma, divitision and sagion, holding sword with his right hand and leaning on an oval shield(sometimes decorated with cross) with his left hand

Inscription is always illegible and mistaken, bust of saint Demetrius* with nimbus, wearing tunic and kolobion, holding cross in front of his chest.

*As the style of the known examples are very rude, naive and schematic and inscription are mistaken and illegible, it can't be concluded for sure that there is saint Demetrius engraved on the reverse
